Dynamilis is an application for children ages 5-12 that helps them improve their handwriting.

Dynamilis can be used at home, school, or with a therapist who specialises in writing or fine motor skills (occupational therapist, speech therapist, psychomotor therapist, graphologist, etc.).

Dynamilis works with an iPad and a stylus.

To fully benefit from Dynamilis, we recommend that you use the Apple Pencil or the Logitech Crayon.

An Internet connection is required to make the assessment and view your results. The other activities do not require an Internet connection.

Handwriting assessment

The assessment creates a complete handwriting profile for a child by studying a sample of their handwriting on the tablet. Thousands of data points are examined to determine the child's strengths and weaknesses.

When a child completes the handwriting assessment, their handwriting is compared to thousands of other children of the same age and gender. The scores allow the given child to be placed in relation with other children.

The handwriting assessment is not calibrated for adults; it provides reliable results for children aged 5 to 12.

Although the tablet's surface is different from paper, studies show that writing difficulties transfer from one surface to the other. As a result, the tablet is an ideal medium for a much more accurate handwriting assessment.

We recommend carrying out the assessment at least once a month and no more than once a week.

It is not necessary to copy all the text; nevertheless, the more written material, the more accurate the results.

It is not necessary to copy the text exactly. The child can write using: script, cursive, a combination of the two, capital letters, etc.

If you are using the Apple Pencil, check that the tip of your stylus is screwed on tightly. If the problem persists, please contact your supplier for assistance.

If you are using a stylus other than the Apple Pencil, your device may not measure the tilt.

To fully benefit from Dynamilis, we recommend that you use the Apple Pencil or the Logitech Crayon.

Ensure that your stylus supports pressure sensitivity. Be aware that only some Apple Pencil models come with this feature.

If you have a compatible model and continue to face issues, first verify that the stylus tip is securely attached. Should the problem continue, we recommend reaching out to your supplier for further assistance.

Subscriptions

When you start a 7-day trial, you get access to all Dynamilis features for free for 7 days.

After the free trial period, your account will auto-renew into a subscription and you will be charged.

If you do not wish to enter into a subscription you will need to cancel the free trial at least 24 hours before the 7th day.

Go to the "Settings" app on your iPad, select your name at the top left, "Subscriptions", "Dynamilis" and then "Cancel subscription".

You have to do this at least 24 hours before the free trial ends.

You will have access to all Dynamilis features until the end of the free trial.

If you use the app after your subscription has expired, you will be presented with a screen allowing you to renew your subscription.

In the Dynamilis app, go to the "Account" tab and then "Subscription" and finally tap on the "Redeem code" button.

Yes, your subscription automatically renews. To turn off auto-renewal, you need to cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

We do not currently offer the option to pause your subscription. However, you can disable the auto-renewal feature on your subscription so that it will expire at the end of your paid time.

Go to the "Account" tab and then "Subscription".

You will be charged for the new subscription and the change will take effect immediately.

You will also be refunded for the remainder of your previous subscription (note: the refund can take up to a week to complete).

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the payment method attached to your Apple account.

Apple accepts a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, PayPal and more. Please check the Apple website for more information.

You can update your payment information through your Apple account.

You will be charged in your local currency if it's available in the App Store. When you purchase a subscription, the price and currency will be shown to you.

Apple will email you a receipt to the email address linked to your Apple account once the purchase has been made.

We’re sorry that you received an unwanted charge. Please note that deleting the app will not cancel your subscription. To request a refund, please contact Apple directly.

Personal data

Yes, Dynamilis is GDPR compliant. Data protection is a priority for us, so:

- We only collect the personal data strictly necessary for the operation of the application
- We only collect personal data with your consent
- You can consult, modify and delete your personal data at any time
- Under no circumstances will we transmit your personal data to third parties, unless we are required to do so by law
- We use secure solutions for data storage (ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 certifications)

The application data is stored in Zurich, Switzerland.

Go to "Account" > "Delete account".

Please note that deleting your account will not cancel your subscription, you have to do this separately.
